The interactive Town Hall meeting will address the new and unprecedented policy problems our countries are facing, and will face in the coming months and the existential challenges and disruptions the Virus has imposed on think tanks around the world
The virtual Global Town Hall to Save Lives and Livelihoods will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 from 8:30-11:30 AM Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDST)

This unprecedented crisis has been characterized by its speed, scope, uncertainty and the insecurity it creates for people and institutions. The purpose of the forum is to share the strategies and skills that are necessary for crisis management, decision-making, fundraising, communications and policy research and advice in a world disrupted by the Corona Virus. A group of think tank executives will open the discussion by sharing how we can redirect our institutions, staff and research programs to meet the new and radically altered policy environment. The focus will be sharing concrete strategies, policies and proposals to help us all deal with the challenges we face. The goal is to mobilize and support think tanks around the world so they can better serve the policymakers and the public in the countries where we operate in this time of crisis. We also want to create a space where think tanks can Connect, Communicate and Collaborate To Save Lives and Livelihoods
We would like your help with 3 things if you have not already done so
1. Register for the Global Think Tank Town Hall using this link
2. Submit your questions and concerns so we can attempt to create a forum that is responsive to them
3. Please focus on making concrete policy proposals, programs and strategies that are designed to help our countries and institutions provide the ideas and advice that will guide us through this difficult period in human history
Please join with us as we come together as a community of think tanks to forge the plans and partnerships that will help us through this crisis
