The Arab Center for Research is pleased to announce the Winter University 2027, taking place from 13 to 16 January 2027 in Marrakech, Morocco, as part of the Arab Liberty Festival 2027.
Under the theme “Arab World: Mapping Opportunities for a New Economic Narrative,” this edition aims to explore new pathways for economic growth and development across the Arab region. Moving beyond traditional discussions of economic challenges, the program will focus on identifying untapped opportunities, fostering entrepreneurship, encouraging innovation, and developing practical solutions tailored to the realities of individual Arab countries.
The Winter University will bring together emerging thinkers, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas, explore promising economic initiatives, and contribute to a renewed vision of economic transformation in the Arab world.
Participants will also have the opportunity to attend selected Arab Liberty Festival activities, including advanced training sessions, thematic discussions, and networking opportunities with regional and international experts.
Applications Are Open
Applications are open until 15 November 2026, with a limited number of places available.
The Arab Center for Research offers three categories of grants to support selected participants:
- Gold Grant: Registration fees, accommodation, program access, and an additional night to attend the festival’s closing event.
- Silver Grant: Registration fees, accommodation, and program access.
- Honours Grant: Registration fees.
Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses.
